Cremation
In recent years, more people are choosing cremation. While cremation can be a more economical decision, many people feel it does not offer the same type of closure associated with a funeral service. We are aware of this concern and so we offer traditional funeral services, and services with visitation on the same day of cremation. This has proven to be a good solution and can offer the same closure traditionally experienced with a full funeral.

Out of Town/State Deaths
Smith & Son Funeral Homes can handle all aspects of deaths that occur outside of Clinton County, or for that matter outside of Ohio. By simply contacting Smith & Son Funeral Homes when the death occurs we will carry out all of the details, including getting your loved one back to Wilmington or New Vienna. We can also arrange for burials anywhere in Ohio or outside of Ohio.
